The founding purpose of our studio is to produce, market, and distribute the television series “The Remnant: Noah.” Additionally, we will use Remnant Studios, LLC as an umbrella style entity for future team productions.
Ownership and management is distributed evenly among our Founder team, which consists of Courtis Merry, Joel Cunningham, and Jarrod Wilson.
While no structure is entirely without its challenges—and despite the inherent caveats of day-to-day operations—we believe that our evenly split ownership and management approach provides the most effective and balanced strategy. This belief is grounded in several key factors, including its alignment with biblical principles.

The Remnant: Noah is being developed by creator Courtis Merry and showrunners Joel Cunningham and Jarrod Wilson. This trio came together through meetings, connections, and conversations that can only be described as “God alone”. Our team combines a diverse range of skills and experience all working together to tackle every stage of a series production.

Joel’s experience as a writer and director ensures that the story structure is well-crafted from the outset, with a clear understanding of how pre-production choices will drive the narrative forward. His experience with film distribution also positions us well for future planning and execution.
Jarrod Wilson
Head of Production
Jarrod brings over 20 years of experience as a gaffer and owner/operator of a production equipment rental house: providing crucial knowledge in lighting, on-set production, and equipment know-how to ensure a smooth and flawless execution on set.
Together, we form a dynamic team that covers every facet of the process, ensuring a well-rounded approach to delivering a high-quality series.
